Adobe System Incorporation unveiled Adobe AIR on mobile devices and expect to release AIR for Android OS by end of 2010.

Adobe AIR will enable developers to deliver rich interactive applications outside mobile browser with support for multiple operating systems. Adobe AIR leverages mobile native application capabilities from Flash Player 10.1 for a richer and more immersive user experience.

With the launch of Adobe AIR on mobile devices, it will become single development platform for developing applications for web browsers, desktop and mobile devices. You develop the application once and deploy it anywhere. It will reduce development time as there would be no need to develop same application in different technologies to support different operating systems and devices.

Rightway’s Flex and AIR team is excited and waiting for its public release.
