The Solution

  • This site is developed using power of MVC pattern of CakePHP 1.1 framework.
  • Any registered user can upload any media of specified formats.
  • User can flag out any media for any socially objectionable content.
  • Star rating implementation to filter out media using rating.
  • We integrated different kind of search facilities to search media like highest rated, most viewed, and most recent.
  • Fully customized language module to implement multilingual languages.
  • Google map integration to show location wise uploaded media and registered user’s location. To do this, we have used the Google map API standard tools such as Markers and information windows. They created the useful features in the maps such as custom markings on maps and on-click information windows.
  • Precise locations on the Google maps are maintained by custom markers identified using their geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude).
  • Admin have full control of the site and can manage all user profiles and do important content management of the website.
