PHP 5.3.9 released recently with more than 90 bug fixes consist of security associated. Previous version 5.3.8 was launched on 23 August 2011.

 

PHP 5.3.9 fixes hash collision DoS weakness:
PHP Developers are suffering from a trouble, when sending multiple requests can have an impact on the sensitivity of even a group of servers that use multicore processors. This issue has been solved in PHP 5.3.9 by add max_input_vars directive to the configuration file. (CVE-2011-4885)
PHP 5.3.9 includes fixes for a large number of non security allied bugs, as well as different enhancements.
